Welcome to All Independent Authors

Black Chicken Publications is now accepting manuscripts for eBook conversion and sale on their online book shop from independent authors. We  have four packages available.

1. Book Conversion Only: We convert your manuscript into pdf, epub and mobi formats that can be downloaded to e-readers. Cost is $95.00 per format.

2. Individual Self-Publisher: Books up to 400 pages (request a quote for larger work) converted into all three formats and placed on Black Chicken Online Book Store for sale. Cost $50 per book (for all 3 formats) plus 10% of sales made through Black Chicken Publications.

3. Author Publishing Group: An annual fee which entitles you to three manuscripts converted into all formats and placed on Black Chicken Publications for download and sale. We do not take commission on book sales - 100% profit to you!

What do you get?

  • Author profile page on Black Chicken
  • Link to the author from Black Chicken for enquiries on paper copies of your book
  • Your manuscript correctly formatted and submitted to Google Books
  • Secure credit card payment shopping cart
  • 100% royalties to the author.
  • Your book promoted through Black Chicken's Online marketing - including a listing on our FaceBook website

Cost: Flat fee of $350 per annum.

4. Premium Package: This is the complete package:

  • Five page author website ( here you can include your own images,news about upcoming books or where readers can purchase print copies of your publications) Your website will be self editable so you can upload pictures and change the text yourself.
  • Cost also includes 3 years of website hosting and free domain name
  • PLUS all the features of the Author Publishing Group package: Books converted and sold through Black Chicken 100% royalty free.

Cost: $1500.00 This is a one off fee and includes membership to Author Publishing Group for one year.

What Happens Next? Once your books are converted the digital copies will be sent to you. You retain all rights to your books and are free to sell them with other retailers. We cannot sell print copies of books at this time.

What to Do Now? Download  and read the "how to submit my manuscript" page  the checklist , then email your book and cover to JLIB_HTML_CLOAKING .  Please specify which package you require i.e. 1, 2, 3 or 4.

You will receive email notification within 48 hours if your book has been accepted for for e-publication and/or sale. The acceptance email will include confirmation of cost and instructions for payment.

Please Note: If your manuscript is not formatted correctly for conversion it will not be accepted for publication unless you wish to pay additional costs for formatting. No "R" rated books are accepted!
